Regulatory Watch – UK Edition – April 2020

As we adjust to working from home and living in the midst of a pandemic, it strikes me how quickly our colleagues and our clients have adjusted to a new normal Despite our way of life being temporarily curtailed, COVID 19 has proven life goes on Even the FCA and PRA Business Plans were published as expected, though much of the focus was on COVID 19 In this edition, we explore the usiness Plans in more detail, as well as how we expect COVID 19 to re focus some of these priorities.

The deadline for the Operational Resilience consultation paper was extended by the PRA and the FCA to 1 st October 2020 However, we thought now might be a good time to appraise the proposed measures in light of the lessons learned from COVID 19 and what impact, if any, these may have on future regulatory developments around operational resilience
